Overview

A mobile app that uses AI to grade gemstones by type, brightness, color, and pattern.

The Challenge

The challenge was building a mobile app that didn't just take pictures, but actually delivered real grading intelligence users could trust. It needed to feel instant, accurate, and premium - while handling complex image inputs.

The Solution

We designed the app around an AI-first workflow, using multiple ML models and image-processing steps to extract meaningful grading signals. The system was built to scale, letting us improve accuracy over time while keeping the user experience smooth.

Execution

We structured the app into clear modules: camera capture, preprocessing, model inference, and final grading output. We then integrated backend services for user accounts, saved grading history, and secure media handling. The final product was engineered like a real commercial AI app, not a basic demo.
